Katherine Nguyen

Katherine Nguyen is a shareholder founding of KeyPoint Tax and Resolution Group at its inception in 2020. She has 15 years of experience in tax, bookkeeping, and consultation for a wide variety of businesses and individual clients. Her background includes service to many privately held businesses in Texas and surrounding areas, and Louisiana in the following industries, oil and gas, real estate, healthcare, retail, logistic, personal care, insurance, and construction. By providing relevant information, she outlines strategies to help her clients minimize their overall tax liabilities. Additionally, she has successfully represented numerous clients’ cases about income tax, payroll, sale and use taxes audit before the Internal Revenue Service and local tax authorities.
Katherine received her 1st bachelor’s degree in business commerce from EUH in 2005 in Vietnam. She also earned a 2nd degree in accounting from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette while working for a local CPA firm. Furthermore, she has been an IRS enrolled agent since 2015.

Steven J. Elliott MST, CPA

Steven J. Elliott, MST, CPA is a Senior Tax Advisor with over 30 years of experience providing income tax services. His focus includes tax compliance, planning, and advisory for high-net-worth individuals, non-profits, trusts, estates, and privately held businesses within a wide variety of industries. He also handles expatriate, gift, and State tax filings.

Steven graduated with high honors from Bentley University in Boston with a master’s in taxation, and with honors from Northeastern University in Boston with a BSBA in Accounting. He is an active Texas based certified public accountant as well as a Notary Public. In addition, Steve is an Adjunct Professor teaching classes in various Income Tax concepts.

Jory Smith, CPA

Jory Smith, CPA is a Senior Tax with 05 years of experience providing income tax services to individuals, corporations, S corporations, limited liability companies, and partnerships. He serves clients from various industries such as oil and gas, real estate, retail, and construction.
Jory earned bachelor’s degrees in accounting and information system from Utah Valley University, and master’s degree in accounting from University of Utah, David Eccles School of Business. He is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Texas.
